Leather Sofa FAQ’s

Do you offer a bespoke furniture manufacturing service?

Yes we do, we can make minor changes and adjustments to our existing range to suit your needs. These modifcations are usually chargable, please discuss your requirements with our sales team who will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

Do you sell to businesses as well as consumers?

We manufacture to contract standard so if you are purchasing leather sofas for a business such as a hotel, bar, pub or cafe then please contact our sales team to discuss your requirements and ask for a quotation.

Are your sofas available in fabric as well as leather?

The Leather Sofa Shop manufactures sofas in house at our furniture factory in Trafford Park, Manchester. We can upholster in any leather or fabric, please email our sales team to find our what options are available to you. Or alternatively you can supply us with the fabric of your choosing (must meet fire regulations BS5852 domestic FR for your home, or CRIB5 for commercial use)


What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments by Credit / Debit Card, PayPal, Cheque or BACS. Please Contact Us to request our bank details.

When do I pay for my new sofa?

We ask for a 50% deposit upon order and the balance is payable prior to dispatch. You will be contacted by our sales team when your order has been produced to let you know that its ready and to take the balance payment.

Do you offer credit or finance?

We operate on a pro forma basis and therefore all goods need to be paid for prior to dispatch.


How long does delivery take?

Depending on work load and leather availablility it takes our production team between 1 – 4 weeks to manufacture our leather sofas (2 weeks on average). Our carrier is contracted to deliver within 10 working days from collecting the goods from our factory – therefore from order to delivery can be as little as 3 weeks or as much as 6 weeks.

How are your sofas delivered?

We contract our deliveries to a professional furniture handler. They provide a 2 man, white glove service and will carry the sofas to the room of your choice, unpack them, ensure you are happy with your new purchase and when they are finished they will remove all of the packaging, leaving you to enjoy your lovely new leather sofas

Orders & Returns

How do I place an order?

We accept orders online, over the phone, by email and also in person. Please note if you would like to order a sofa in one of our bespoke leathers then this cannot be done online.

Can I change my order once it has been placed?

Our sofas are made to order in your choice of leather therefore any changes must be made prior to production commencing. Please contact our sales team asap after ordering to discuss any changes that you would like to make

How do I track my order?

Orders can be tracked via the Order Tracking page on our website, or by contacting our sales team. You may be asked for your name, postcode and order number so please have these details to hand.

Can I return my sofas?

If you are unhappy with your purchase then you have the right to return within 14 days under the distance selling act. The goods must be unused, undamaged and returned to our factory in Manchester. If you are unable to arrange your own transport back then we can do this for you and the charge will be deducted from your refund.
