Vintage Aniline Choco (Tobacco)
A beautiful semi aniline brown leather with a distressed cracked wax finish. Perfect for Contemporary Leather Sofas and Chesterfield Settees alike. This leather is designed to give a wonderful variation of colour when it is upholstered, ensuring that no two pieces of furniture are exactly the same. All of the original natural markings will show through the surface of the leather and as the sofa wears, the wax will crack more giving the sofa a wonderful vintage appearance.
Vintage Aniline Tan (Cracked Wax)
A distressed semi aniline leather with a special hot wax applied to the surface after tanning. When the leather is stretched or manipulated, the wax surface cracks giving a lovely distressed appearance. To see what this looks like simply scrunch this leather sample up in your hand and then unfold it to reveal the aged finish.
Vintage Aniline Brown (Forest)
A full aniline rich chocolate brown leather with an oil finish. Forest Brown is very soft to touch and adds warmth to your sofa. Finished by hand, this leather is designed to get more and more distressed as it ages. Natural characteristics of the leather such as marks and scars are maintained during the tanning process creating a truly unique finish.
Vintage Aniline Bruciato (Old English)
A classic semi aniline tan leather with a light wax coating for increased durability. The finish of this leather is fairly smooth, with some of the natural grain pattern showing through the surface. Colour variations and original markings from the hide will be present which adds character to the leather, emphasising its natural qualities.
Vintage Aniline Parchment (Old English)
A semi aniline leather that has had the least dye applied to it in the tanning process and has been finished with wax. The result is a natural colour with extra durability obtained from the wax surface coating. Very hard to source in the UK, this grey / sand colour leather looks fantastic on vintage leather sofas becasue it accentuates just how natural leather actually is.
